In the check dialogue, all VAT IDs including the corresponding master data of a selected import are displayed and checked. It is possible to select one of the two interfaces: VIES or BZSt. BZSt: interface to the Federal Central Tax Office. |
Via the BZSt interface you can check VAT IDs of the EU member states, but not the German VAT IDs. Inquiries can be sent only with a valid German VAT ID. If there is no valid German VAT ID for the active company in the current period, no check via BZSt can be performed.
