Wichtige Hinweise 

Die hier angegebenen Systemanforderungen beziehen sich nur auf SmartNotes mit der Hauptversion 2.x.

Sollten auf dem Anwendungsserver noch andere Anwendungen aktiv sein, so sind diese bei den Systemanforderungen ebenfalls zu berücksichtigen.

Datenbank:

• Der SQL Server muss die Collation Latin1_General_CI_AS aufweisen.

• Eine regelmäßige Sicherung der SmartNotes-Datenbank wird dringend empfohlen, da SmartNotes alle Daten in der Datenbank ablegt.

• Beachten Sie bitte, dass SQL Express eine Größenbeschränkung hat und insofern nicht für den dauerhaften Betrieb geeignet ist. Wir empfehlen eine vollwertige MSSQL Serverlizenz.

Anwendungsserver:

• Schreibzugriff auf das Unterverzeichnis "/logs" in der SmartNotes-Server-Installation wird benötigt.

• Ein technischer Benutzer muss in der Computerverwaltung als Admin eingetragen sein.

Clientanwendung:

• SmartNotes ist keine Webanwendung und kann nicht in einem Browser benutzt werden.

• Für die Kommunikation mit dem Client ist kein SSL-Zertifikat erforderlich.

• Die Konfigurationsdatei des Client (SmartNotes.exe.config) muss durch die SmartNotes-Anwendung beschrieben werden können!

Allgemein:

• Generell sollten Datenbankserver und Anwendungsserver auf getrennten Maschinen installiert werden.

• Mehrere Verbindungen, die zwischen dem Client und dem Server aufgebaut werden, umfassen Anfrage und Antwort. Der Server baut keine Verbindung zum Client auf, sondern nur der Client zum Server.

The system requirements given here only refer to SmartNotes with the main version 2.x.

If other applications are active on the application server, these must also be taken into account in the system requirements.

CloudSystem Requirements#Database

• The SQL server must have the collation Latin1_General_CI_AS.

• A regular backup of the SmartNotes database is strongly recommended, as SmartNotes stores all data in the database.

• Please note that SQL Express has a size limitation and is therefore not suitable for permanent operation. We recommend a full MSSQL server license.

CloudSystem Requirements#Application server

• Write access to the subdirectory "/logs" in the SmartNotes server installation is required.

• A technical user must be entered as Admin in the computer administration.

Client application:

• SmartNotes is not a web application and cannot be used in a browser.

• No SSL certificate is required for communication with the client.

• The client configuration file (SmartNotes.exe.config) must be writable by the SmartNotes application!

General:

• In general, database servers and application servers should be installed on separate machines.

• Several connections established between the client and the server include request and response. The server does not establish a connection to the client, only the client to the server.

• Für bis zu 100 Benutzer wird ein Upgrade auf 12 Kerne und 64 GB RAM empfohlen.

• Der Speicherbedarf der Datenbank hängt von der Anzahl der in SmartNotes implementierten Berichte ab. Insbesondere die Implementierung von umfangreichen PowerPoint-Präsentationen kann den Speicherbedarf beeinflussen. Bei typischem Nutzungsverhalten [Implementierung von Jahresbericht + Quartalsberichten in SmartNotes] kann von einem DB-Wachstum von < 3 GB pro Jahr ausgegangen werden. Die empfohlene anfängliche Datenbankgröße beträgt 10 GB.

• Für bis zu 100 Benutzer wird ein Upgrade auf 8 Kerne und 16 GB RAM empfohlen.

• For up to 100 users, an upgrade to 12 cores and 64 GB RAM is recommended.

• The memory requirements of the database depend on the number of reports implemented in SmartNotes. In particular, the implementation of extensive PowerPoint presentations can influence the memory requirement. With typical usage behaviour [implementation of annual report + quarterly reports in SmartNotes], a DB growth of < 3 GB per year can be assumed. The recommended initial database size is 10 GB.

For up to 100 users, an upgrade to 8 cores and 16 GB RAM is recommended.
