Das Ersetzen einer existierenden Lizenz kann aus verschiedenen Gründen notwendig sein

  • Sie haben ein zusätzliches Modul lizensiert und möchten dieses aktivieren
  • Sie möchten die bestehende Lizenz schon kurz vor Ablauf - z.B. während eines Wartungsfenster - austauschen

Zum Einspielen (Austauschen) der Lizenz führen Sie bitte die folgenden Schritte durch.

Wenn Sie die Lizenz in einer Erstinstallation einspielen wollen, dann überspringen Sie bitte die Punkte 2 und 3.

Replacing an existing licence may be necessary for various reasons

  • You have licensed an additional module and would like to activate it.
  • You want to replace the existing licence shortly before it expires - e.g. during a maintenance window.

To import (replace) the licence, please follow the steps below.

If you want to install the licence in a first installation, please skip points 2 and 3.

  3. Delete existing key
  4. Start SmartNotesServerExe
  5. Select file
  6. Start service

Start the SmartNotes Server application SmartNotesServer.exe and double click on the orange text ("please check your License key").

Use the browse button to select the file on the desktop. After confirming the dialogues, the orange text should have disappeared and be replaced by the number of users.
