Plötzlich stürzt der SmartNotes-Client ab oder der SmartNotes-Server reagiert nicht mehr. Sind Ihre Daten nun weg? Nein!

Wenn Sie einen Schnipsel auschecken (Word/Excel/PPT) legt SmartNotes die Datei in einem temporären Ordner ab.

Am einfachsten gelangen Sie über den Menüpunkt "Temp-Ordner im Explorer öffnen"  in den Benutzereinstellungen zu dem Ordner.

Wenn der Temp-Pfad nach der Installation nicht geändert wurde, dann können Sie diesen auch über den Windows-Explorer erreichen.

Geben den Ausdruck "%temp%" (ohne Hochkomma) ein und wechseln dann in den Order der mit dem Ausdruck "{29AD" beginnt. Der Name ist technisch bedingt und deshalb etwas kryptisch.

Sollte eine Datei mehrfach vorhanden sein, sortieren Sie den Ordner nach Datum. Die neueste Datei gilt dann.

Zum Wiederherstellen führen Sie bitte die folgenden Schritte durch.

  1. Kopieren Sie die betroffene(n) Datei(en) in einen Ordner Ihrer Wahl, beispielsweise Ihren Desktop.
  2. Öffnen Sie die betroffene(n) Datei(en) einmal ausserhalb von SmartNotes. In seltenen Fällen kann es sein, dass Ihnen Office eine Reparatur der Datei vorschlägt.
  3. Entsperren Sie nun das oder die durch den Absturz gesperrten Kapitel (/wiki/spaces/SND/pages/6219274).
  4. Die Datei fügen Sie nun über die Funktion /wiki/spaces/SND/pages/6219274 wieder ein.

When you check out a snippet (Word/Excel/PPT), SmartNotes places the file in a temporary folder.

The easiest way to get to the folder is via the menu item "Open Temp Folder in File Explorer" in the user settings.

If the temp path was not changed after installation, you can also reach it via Windows Explorer.

Enter the expression "%temp%" (without apostrophe) and then change to the folder that begins with the expression "{29AD". The name is technically related and therefore somewhat cryptic.

If a file exists several times, sort the folder by date. The most recent file is then valid.

To restore, please follow the steps below.

  1. Copy the affected file(s) to a folder of your choice, for example your desktop.
  2. Open the affected file(s) once outside of SmartNotes. In rare cases, Office may suggest that you repair the file.
  3. Now unlock the chapter(s) locked by the crash (/wiki/spaces/SND/pages/6219274).
  4. Now add the file via the function /wiki/spaces/SND/pages/6219274.
