The official release date for version Version 22.00.00 cannot be announced at this time. We will make every effort to provide you with a GTC version with was published in May 2022. This includes, among other things, the German tax return form set for the 2021 tax assessment period as soon as possible. It is expected that the publication will take place in the 1st half of May.
If you would like to continue sending assessment periods up to and including 2020 after the minimum version increase (05.05.2022), you will need the latest version from the 21.15.xx series. Please note that when switching to this version, a new Transfer Client version must also be installed and configured in the GTC.
Please also note that we will be updating the underlying Java version for our applications in summer. The R2/2022 release will thus require at least Java 17. The Java version on the GlobalTaxCenter web application server must therefore also be updated before the GTC is updated.
In autumn the Version 22.09.00 was published. The version provides changes for the 2022 annual financial statement in particular. Please also note that the underlying Java version was updated to Java 17.
