Word kann "nur" mit maximal 4079 Styles umgehen. Dabei ist es egal, ob diese auch tatsächlich verwendet werden.

Das mag im ersten Moment nach sehr viel klingen und ist auch in einem Schnipsel sicherlich nur mit viel Mühe zu erreichen.

Wenn Sie häufig den "Multicheckout" verwenden, dabei immer viele Schnipsel auswählen und in diesen Schnipsels noch Styles definiert haben, dann kann ein Ergebnisdokument aber durchaus die maximale Anzahl Styles erreichen und Word kann es nicht mehr öffnen.

In der /wiki/spaces/SND/pages/6219774 haben wir ein paar notwendige Styles angelegt, die dadurch auch für die weiteren Schnipsel zur Verfügung stehen.

In diesem Beispiel besteht das Dokument aus fünf Kapiteln, die jeweils nur einen Word-Schnipsel enthalten.

Im Kapitel 1 haben wir fünf Styles, die mit dem Ausdruck "Kapitel1" beginnen.

In Kapitel 2 bis 5 gibt es ebenso fünf eigene Styles (Kapitel2 Style, Kapitel3 Style, Kapitel4 Style, Kapitel5 Style).

Erstellt man nun ein Ergebnisdokument, so sind dort auch die jeweils fünf Styles der einzelnen Kapitel enthalten.

Statt einmal in der Formatvorlage fünf Styles anzulegen hat man nun im Ergebnisdokument 25 Styles mehr.

Note

Die Anzahl der Styles in diesem Beispiel ist natürlich sehr klein und soll nur erklären wie sich die Styles "vermehren".

Bei einem Dokument mit z.B. 100 Word-Schnipseln und jeweils 5 abweichenden Styles wären im Ergebnisdokument bereits 500 Styles mehr zu verzeichnen.

Prüfen Sie deswegen beim Übernehmen von Texten oder ganzen Word-Dateien ob dort nicht benötigte Styles vorhanden sind und entfernen Sie diese.

Die Vorgehensweise entspricht der Beschreibung Mehrere Styles gleichzeitig aus der Formatvorlage löschen.

Example: We have created a few necessary styles in the /wiki/spaces/SND/pages/6219774, which are then also available for the other snippets.

In this example, the document consists of five chapters, each containing only one Word snippet.

In Chapter 1 we have five styles that begin with the expression "Chapter1". (Kapitel → Chapter)

Chapters 2 to 5 also have five styles of their own (Chapter2 Style, Chapter3 Style, Chapter4 Style, Chapter5 Style).

If you now create a result document, it also contains the five styles of the individual chapters.

Instead of creating five styles once in the format template, you now have 25 more styles in the result document.

Note

The number of styles in this example is of course very small and is only intended to explain how the styles "multiply".

For a document with e.g. 100 Word snippets and 5 different styles each, there would already be 500 more styles in the result document.

Therefore, when transferring texts or entire Word files, check whether there are any styles that are not required and remove them.

The procedure corresponds to the description "Delete several styles from the layout master".
