To import data into the Pillar 2 module, an interface structure has to be established. The structure defines the interface type (e.g. csv file, SAP, REST), the direction of the data transfer (Import, Export) and the destination of the data transfer (Pillar 2). An Interface Structure with the Pillar 2 destination also activates the “Import button” in the dialogue “Entity Data Collection”. The Mapping translates the technical IDs into more legible IDs (e.g. the legible IDs INC-1, DT-2) or company specific IDs such as account numbers. For examples of Mappings, see the section on Mappings in the area “Important documents”. Both, the Interface and the Mapping has to be established once and can then be used for several periods or different import files.

The following explanation shows the setup of an interface for a csv Upload, the setup of the Mapping and the Import into the Pillar 2 Module. For information on Interface structures to the data transfer, enhanced mappings and other interface types, please contact AMANA.

If the Importfile is to be changed, it is possible to correct the Importfile and choose the “Import” button to repeat the process.
