The Elmah component is used for error logging. The component allows the automatic logging of errors, e.g. in a log file. The default settings after installation create log files in the AppData folder for both the XBRL Portal and the XBRL Portal server. The configuration (e.g. e-mail notification) is controlled via the respective web.config files of the applications.

Für die Fehlerprotokollierung wird die Komponente Elmah verwendet. Die Komponente erlaubt die automatische Protokollierung von Fehlern, z.B. in einer Log-Datei. Die Standardeinstellungen nach der Installation erstellt Log-Dateien im Ordner App_Data sowohl für das XBRL Portal als auch den XBRL Portal Server. Die Konfiguration (z.B. E-Mail Benachrichtigung) wird über die jeweiligen web.config Dateien der Anwendungen gesteuert.
