AMANA already performs intensive testing during the development of its own software products. This includes the following activities:
- Static code analyses & dependency checks
- Penetration tests
- Manual testing during the implementation of a function
- Automated component/unit and integration tests
- Automated user interface tests
- Manual execution of documented test cases before release of a major release
- Exploratory testing
Due to the very large number of configuration options in GlobalTaxCenter, AMANA cannot test each variant individually. Therefore, we recommend testing the following areas in particular in your test environment before going live with the application:
- New developments that have been implemented in cooperation with you
- Functions that have been activated in your customising and are no longer actively supported by AMANA
- All import and export interfaces configured by you and any associated processes for automation
- Your own reports (e.g. accounting documents, management reports)
- Single sign-on, if this is activated on your system
