If more than one structure variant is stored for a SmartNotes document, a drop-down menu with the description "Structure variant" is displayed in the upper right area of the cockpit. This menu can be used to switch between the different structure variants. If only one structure variant [<default>] is available for a document, the drop-down menu is automatically hidden. To switch to another structure variant, the drop-down menu is called up by left-clicking. All structure variants that have been created for a document are listed there. The desired structure variant can be selected with another left click. The preset standard structure variant is displayed at the top of the drop-down menu as <default>. The definition of a new structure variant is done with the help of the "structure administration". This can be called up via the menu item "Tools" and the sub-item "Structure administration".
