The data import organises the loading of data from the pre-systems used into SmartNotes. With the help of the data import, the position numbers, names and values from a previous system or a source data file are loaded into the SmartNotes database and thus made available within SmartNotes. It is also possible to access several pre-systems or source files at the same time and import data from them. The individual data sources and their data import can be managed and adjusted in the Data Source Management. Please note that only the "Flat List Import" is included in a standard delivery. For information on other interfaces, please refer to the chapter CloudInterface Documentation. Note |
---|
Data is always imported for a specific period. The import can be carried out for one or more data sources. It should be noted that each import always updates all data of the target period for the imported data source. When importing a data source, the items contained there are updated for the selected target period. If an item is no longer contained in the data source, it will be removed in the target period. If there are several data sources, it is irrelevant whether they are imported in one go or one after the other. |
After successful completion of an import, the data is stored in the SmartNotes data cache and assigned to the period selected at the beginning of the process. A detailed overview of the imported data can be found in the position evaluation and in the SmartNotes Data View in Excel. |
