Tabellen-Templates: Aktualisierung mit neuem Parser
Mit der Version 2.9.0.103 wurden die Tabellen-Templates überarbeitet. Bisher kam es immer mal wieder vor, dass die Tabelle direkt nach dem Einfügen anders aussah als im Ergebnisdokument. Dies lag daran, dass beim manuellen Aktualisieren der Tabelle der alte Parser in Aktion trat. Dies wurde nun abgestellt und der schnellere, neue Parser verarbeitet die Aktualisierung. Das Ergebnis ist eine schnellere Ladezeit und ein stabileres Layout.

Da die Verarbeitung grundlegend angepasst werden musste, ist es bei mehrspaltigen Berichten nun notwendig eine fest definierte Tabellenbreite im Template zu hinterlegen, da die Tabelle nun immer an die Seitenbreite und nicht die Spaltenbreite angepasst wird.

Verschlüsselung der Client-/Server-Kommunikation über Zertifikate
Die Kommunikation zwischen Client und Server ist grundsätzlich symmetrisch verschlüsselt. Die meisten unserer Kunden betreiben SmartNotes "on premise" im eigenen Firmennetzwerk. Für dieses Szenario ist diese Art der Verschlüsselung ausreichend.
Als weitere Möglichkeit für Kunden mit einem SmartNotes Server außerhalb des eigenen Firmennetzwerks haben wir nun die Verschlüsselung per SSL implementiert.

Table templates: Update with new parser
With version 2.9.0.103, the table templates have been revised. Up to now, it happened from time to time that the table looked different directly after insertion than in the result document. This was due to the fact that the old parser went into action when the table was updated manually. This has now been stopped and the faster, new parser processes the update. The result is a faster loading time and a more stable layout.

Since the processing had to be fundamentally adapted, it is now necessary to store a fixed table width in the template for multi-column reports, as the table is now always adapted to the page width and not the column width.

Encryption of client/server communication via certificates
Communication between client and server is always symmetrically encrypted. Most of our customers operate SmartNotes "on premise" in their own company network. For this scenario, this type of encryption is sufficient.
As a further option for customers with a SmartNotes server outside their own company network, we have now implemented encryption via SSL. Client and server have to authenticate themselves in advance with a valid certificate and the data is encrypted with the latest SSL technology. This is particularly interesting for customers who cannot use a VPN.
