The permissions "Word" refer to the visibility of the existing Wordfiles and the possibility to edit or delete them. The combination of authorization levels and categories plays a role here. Thus, at least read rights must exist so that the existing Word files are displayed to a user. Depending on the authorization category, additional editing options are activated. In order to at least be able to read the Word files, at least the "Chapter Reader" authorization and an authorization at status level must also be granted. Authorisation for Word is assigned according to the status level created. In this way, it can be controlled for each role when editing is possible in Word and when access is read-only. A good example is the editor and the quality manager: As soon as the status level is set to grey "QA", the editor cannot make any further changes, but the quality manager can. In the final status level green, all roles have read-only access. |
