Tax Balance heavily relies on the so called XBRL taxonomies provided by "XBRL Deutschland e.V.".

Note

Starting with version 25.1 the application will automatically configure the XBRL taxonomy functionality. The below mentioned configuration steps are not necessary anymore.

During startup of the server application a valid XBRL cache will be deployed to the folder %localappdata%\taxonomies-cache on Windows or /home/.local/share/taxonomies-cache on Linux. When hosting Tax Balance with IIS ensure that the Application Pool has the setting Load User Profile set to True. Otherwise, the cache will be deployed to the application folder, which might fail, because of missing write permission.
