You have probably already heard of CustomXML, either through a tick in the Word settings or through the query in the earlier versions of 2.9 asking you whether the CustomXML files should be removed. To delete the CustomXML from the Word files, the Word files must be individually checked out and checked back in. Of course, this can take a little time with a large document in SmartNotes. Therefore, we have now built the deletion of the CustomXML files into the /wiki/spaces/SND/pages/6220449. Here you can select the desired chapters and have the CustomXML files automatically cleaned up in all chapters via the health check. Currently, this function is also found under the tools. The difference to the function in the Word sanity check is that the entire snippets including the format template are cleaned up. The selection via the health check, on the other hand, deletes the CustomXML files only in the selected chapters. In future, the function will be migrated to the Word sanity check. |
