The Excel Sanity Check analyses and corrects the following three points by placing a tick in the desired checkbox:

  • If Excel contains too many external styles that are not used, they are deleted. These styles are often set by tools such as BEX-Analyzer or similar, but are not used.

  • Invisible Excel names that cannot be displayed by the name manager are removed.

  • If a document contains files in xls format, these are converted into xlsx files.

By selecting one or more chapters and then clicking the OK button, the analysis and correction of the selected points is initiated.
