If this prerequisite is fulfilled, bring the cursor to the position to be adjusted and press the function "Align to Grid". In the example above, this is the paragraph below the tables. The following dialogue appears:
In this dialogue, the grid size is entered and the corresponding style is selected via drop-down menu. The option "Set style after tables" adjusts the paragraph after the table according to the selection. This option is mainly used for automatic revision of the entire document and is not relevant for individual selections. After that there are two options: "Apply to selection" and "Apply". "Apply to selection" means that the grid is only adjusted in the paragraph you select with the cursor. "Apply" makes the selection run over the whole document. This can take several minutes, depending on the size of the document.
Note |
---|
If you select the options "Set styles after tables", a corresponding style and "Apply", all styles after the tables are automatically overwritten with this selection in the entire document. The prerequisite for this is that there is an empty paragraph under a table. If the paragraph below a table is a footnote, a heading or body text, it will be overwritten with the selected style. |
