Der Excel Gesundheitscheck analysiert und behebt durch das Setzen eines Hakens in der gewünschten Checkbox die folgenden drei Punkte:

• Enthält Excel zu viele externe Styles, die nicht verwendet werden, werden diese gelöscht. Dieses Style werden häufig durch Tools wie BEX-Analyzer o. Ä. gesetzt, aber nicht verwendet. 

• Beinhaltete Excel Namen, die der Namensmanager nicht anzeigen kann, werden entfernt.

• Enthält ein Dokument Dateien im xls Format, werden diese in xlsx Dateien konvertiert.

Durch das Auswählen eines oder mehrerer Kapitel und anschließendem Bestätigen des OK Buttons, wird die Analyse und Behebung der ausgewählten Punkte angestoßen.

The assistant for this tool can be found in the right-click menu and can be opened with the sub-item "Excel Sanity Check". 

The Excel Sanity Check analyses and corrects the following three points by placing a tick in the desired checkbox:

• If Excel contains too many external styles that are not used, they are deleted. These styles are often set by tools such as BEX-Analyzer or similar, but are not used.

• Invisible Excel names that cannot be displayed by the name manager are removed.

• If a document contains files in xls format, these are converted into xlsx files.

By selecting one or more chapters and then clicking the OK button, the analysis and correction of the selected points is initiated.
