The official release date for version 22.00.00 cannot be announced at this time. We will make every effort to provide you with a GTC version with the German tax return form set for the 2021 tax assessment period as soon as possible. It is expected that the publication will take place in the 1st half of May.

If you would like to continue sending assessment periods up to and including 2020 after the minimum version increase (05.05.2022), you will need the latest version from the 21.15.xx series. Please note that when switching to this version, a new Transfer Client version must also be installed and configured in the GTC.

Please also note that we will be updating the underlying Java version for our applications in summer. The R2/2022 release will thus require at least Java 17. The Java version on the GlobalTaxCenter web application server must therefore also be updated before the GTC is updated.
