In complex data collection processes, maintaining an overview of the current status is crucial for ensuring accuracy and compliance. Each part of the Entity Data Collection process and each Constituent Entity has specific milestones that help in tracking progress and coordinating efforts. These milestones provide essential information on the current state of data entries, allowing users to determine whether all necessary data is available for specific calculations, such as the Safe Harbor Check.

For reporting purposes, milestones cannot be imported automatically. Instead, they must be adjusted through a batch modification process. This ensures that manual updates are applied accurately and consistently across all entities, maintaining alignment in reporting and compliance without the need for individual data entry at the CE level.
