Roll-Forward-Assistent

The Roll-Forward-Assistent can help replace an ESEF report with an updated version if audits have been started beforehand.
This is often necessary when the client submits a preliminary version of his report or the report contains so many errors that a revision becomes necessary.
You will find the Roll-Forward-Assistent ins the File menu auf the program. The menu item is only active if no report has been loaded before.

The process with the Roll-Forward-Assistent is very simple and only needs a few steps. Backup copies of all files are created beforehand.

1. First, select the audit report that you have already saved for your audits (Select Audit Report File).
2. The program will automatically detect the corresponding ESEF report (a ZIP file) and display this information.
3. Select the revised version of the ESEF report (also a ZIP file) (Select new report file).
4. Click Roll Forward and the program will automatically replace the report and offer you to load the new report now. 

Please make sure that the new ESEF report is indeed a revised version of the original report.
