SmartNotes bietet die Möglichkeit dokumentweite Berichts- bzw. Dokumentvariablen anzulegen und zu nutzen. Bei den Dokumentvariablen handelt es sich um Textbausteine, die nach ihrer Erstellung im Assistenten komfortabel in jede Word-Datei des aktuellen Dokumentes eingefügt werden können. Der Assistent kann zum Anlegen neuer sowie zum Bearbeiten und Löschen bereits vorhandener Variablen genutzt werden. Im Assistenzbereich „Dokumentvariablen“ werden alle bisher angelegten Variablen eines Dokumentes mit ihrem Namen, dem Wert [Inhalt] und der Beschreibung dargestellt.

Erst mit dem Speichern der Änderungen über den Button „Speichern“ werden alle getätigten Änderungen endgültig übernommen und durch eine grün hinterlegte Nachricht links neben dem „Speichern“ Button bestätigt.

Wenn die Verwaltung der Variablen abgeschlossen ist, kann der Assistent mit dem Button „Schließen“ verlassen werden.

Sobald die Variable eingefügt wurde, erscheint diese in der Übersicht. Die weitere Bearbeitung erfolgt wie bei einer bestehenden Variable.

Im Anschluss Speichern Sie den Inhalt über den Button „Speichern" und verlassen den Dialog mit „Schließen".

Wenn Sie den Dialog ohne Speichern über „Schließen" verlassen erscheint eine Sicherheitsabfrage.

Zum Löschen einer Variable wählen Sie diese aus indem Sie in das Feld Name klicken und diese über das Löschen-Symbol löschen. Es erscheint die übliche Sicherheitsabfrage, die Sie noch einmal bestätigen müssen.

Nach dem Löschen ist die Variable nicht mehr in der Liste zu sehen. Sie müssen den Dialog aber noch einmal speichern. Zur Sicherheit erscheint die nebenstehende Abfrage.

Wenn Sie eine Variable aus der Liste löschen und diesen Dialog mit „Nein" bestätigen, wird die Variable nicht gelöscht.

SmartNotes offers the possibility to create and use document-wide report or document variables. The document variables are text modules that can be conveniently inserted into any Word file of the current document after they have been created in the wizard. For more information, see chapter "Insert text variables".

The assistant can be used to create new variables as well as to edit and delete existing ones. In the assistant area "Document variables", all variables created so far in a document are displayed with their name, value [content] and description.

Only when the changes are saved via the "Save" button are all changes made finally adopted and confirmed by a green highlighted message to the left of the "Save" button.

When the administration of the variables is complete, the assistant can be exited with the "Close" button.

After deleting, the variable is no longer visible in the list. However, you must save the dialogue again. To be on the safe side, the adjacent query appears.

If you delete a variable from the list and confirm this dialogue with "No", the variable is not deleted.
